World Without Hunger Conference

Hunger and malnutrition remain among the most vital challenges facing humanity. Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) requires a well-coordinated effort among all stakeholders.

To deliberate on the gravest challenges of our time, the World Without Hunger Conference, planned to take place on 5-7 November 2024 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is a three-day-long event consisting of solution-oriented technical sessions, an investment forum, and a high-level political forum that will result in a Conference Declaration to achieve Zero Hunger.

Over 1,500 high-level stakeholders, including heads of state/government, ministers, UN agencies, the private sector, financial institutions, the donor community, DFI/IFI, civil society, non-governmental organizations, academia, and media, will be present.

The conference is co-organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the African Union Commission (AUC), and the Government of Ethiopia, with technical assistance from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
